IIFS Outreach & Activities

The Interdisciplinary Institute for Food Security (IIFS), Bangladesh Agricultural University, conducts outreach and capacity-building activities to translate research into practice and support safe, nutritious, and sustainable food systems. The Institute works with government agencies, universities, research organizations, industry, and development partners to strengthen food safety, food quality, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture.

IIFS organizes training programs, workshops, seminars, and short courses for professionals, researchers, and students, and provides analytical and advisory services through its Food Quality & Safety Laboratory (FQSL). Through collaborative projects, technical services, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, IIFS contributes to capacity development, policy support, and public awareness for improved food and nutrition security in Bangladesh.
